The Affordable Care Act of 2010 was signed into law on March 23, 2010. The Affordable Care Act will have significant impact on employer-sponsored group health plans and individual/family consumer policies. While the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor, and Treasury will be issuing detailed regulations, what is known are the broad-based provisions that make up the Affordable Care Act.
