Blue Access® for Producers (BAP) allows you to seamlessly access a gateway to our secure employer portal, Blue Access for Employers (BAE). With BAE you can do the following for your fully insured groups:
- Maintain membership information
- View employee and dependent eligibility
- View employee and dependent demographic data
- View COBRA/continuation status for members
- View recent billing and premium payment information to determine if your client is current with premium payments
- View product information
- Request member ID cards for your clients’ employees and dependents
BAE access from BAP saves you time and eliminates the need to log in to a separate website.
To set up your Blue Access for Employers access, follow these steps:
1. If you have not yet signed up for Blue Access for Producers, go to www.bcbstx.com/producer and follow the instructions. It’s quick and easy.
2. Once you have registered, log in to BAP. The link to BAE is on the left side of the home page. Select this link to access your clients’ information via BAE.
3. Notify your clients that you can access their accounts. View a customizable
letter/e-mail template in BAP that you can share with your accounts.
