Helpful resources and tools for joining the BCBSTX Provider Networks!

FOUR EASY STEPS! 

• STEP 1* – Get set up. Before you can join the BCBSTX Provider Networks, you will need to be assigned a Provider Record ID. To get set up, go to Request a BCBSTX Provider Record ID.

*Note: You must obtain a BCBSTX Provider Record ID before moving to Step 2.

• STEP 2 – Get contracted for participation - complete the BCBSTX Contract/Agreement Network Participation Online Request Form.

• STEP 3 – Get credentialed. Once you have been notified by BCBSTX of your assigned Provider Record ID, you will need to be credentialed. View New Credentialing Process – then click on one of the links below to access the appropriate credentialing process for your provider type:
  • Office Based Physician or other Professional Provider
  • Facility or Hospital Based Physician or other Professional Provider

• STEP 4 – Get connected with Electronic Claims Filing, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Electronic Remittance Advise (ERA), Electronic Payment Summary (EPS), Electronic Refund Management (eRM) and other electronic transactions available under the Electronic Commerce area at http://www.bcbstx.com/provider/ec/eft.htm
